Australia Karen Youth Project

1) Raise awareness in Australia and mobilise Australian young people in support of human rights for the Karen and democracy in Burma.

2) Support and resource Karen young people in Australia to effectively assist in the cause of their people whether as refugees or in their homeland.

3) Provide training, education and cultural exchange programs for displaced Karen people.

4) Develop local and international networks and links in support of the Karen cause.

5) Provide care, support and assistance to Karen people who are in necessitous circumstances, suffering illness through deprivation or impoverished circumstances.

6) To do all such other things as may appear to be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above purposes or any of them
